Collects, organizes, and analyzes data to support the development of the cement,ceramic, and glass industries, providing relevant information to stakeholders and users as needed.
Conducts detailed feasibility studies on selected materials and prepares investment project profiles to facilitate access for both local and foreign investors; monitors and evaluates the performance of investment projects, offering solutions to any identified challenges.
Develops a support system to enhance the competitiveness of products in the cement, ceramic, and glass sectors; prepares and implements detailed programs and projects, providing support to industry developers.
Conducts research and studies that promote the development of these industries, focusing on best practices and facilitating adaptation and editing of methodologies.
Prepares and delivers technical, technological, and management training programs to support the advancement of the cement, ceramic, and glass industries.
Collaborates with domestic and international institutions that share similar objectives.
Coordinates with relevant parties to carry out research and development activities aimed at enhancing the quality and quantity of products in the cement, ceramic, and glass sectors.
Partners with the Geological Institute of Ethiopia to provide laboratory and product inspection services related to the cement, ceramic, and glass industries.
Designs training systems in collaboration with relevant bodies to offer preemployment and on-the-job training, introducing trainees to new technologies and practices in the field.
Supports the establishment of resource and market linkages for industry products and conducts market research to better understand industry demands.
Charges fees for services rendered as stipulated by regulations set forth by the Council of Ministers.
Owns property, enters into contracts, can sue and be sued in its own name, and performs other related functions to achieve its objectives.
